Sorry for the loss of your loved one. Psalms 146:4 says that when a man dies, “his thoughts do perish.” We are mortal and do not survive the death of our body. The life we enjoy is like the flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone.”Everyone will miss your loved one. But live for the day that is described in the book of John 5:28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those inthe memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come, I hope these scriptures bring the family comfort.

Mrs. Courtney was my blessing as a young mother. She took wonderful care of my first child Christopher as I had to return to work when he was six weeKS of age. She new I was scared too death of leaving my new baby with a person I did not know well at that time, she assured me he would be fine, and he was. She grew to love him as her own, and he loved her as well. My son is grown now and has his oname little one, but he is battling a heart condition. She always asked me how was her christopher, and was wanting to know about his condition. We had plans after his surgery coming up in January of this next year of him getting well and coming back to la. And visiting mrs. Courtney. She wanted so much to see him again. I am sorry that will not happen. She told me she always put his lititle Christmas ornament with his picture in it on her tree every year since he was a baby. We will never forget those beautiful blue eyes and her wonderful heart of love. She was the best! Love in christ Carla ann

So sorry for the loss of Mrs. Courtney. I pray God grants your entire family peace and comfort through this time. Your mother was a very special person, but I mostly remember her sense of humor. I pray you smile with every remembrance of her.
