Funeral services for Georgia Silman Guraedy, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Pentecostals of the Twin Cities with Pastor Mark Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick‚ Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Silman was born January 19, 1927 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away December 14, 2104 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her first husband M.L. Silman and second husband, David Guraedy; daughter Amaryllis Poston and son Melvin L. Silman.Mrs. Silman loved her church, quilting, crocheting, playing cards, family, friends and going out to eat. Mrs. Silman loved life, always smiling and getting pedicures from Allison.She is survived by her son, Danny Silman; grandsons, Jed Silman, Jamie Silman, Tony Poston; granddaughters, Allison Yeager and husband Johnathan, Ashley Youngblood and husband John, Tara Babcock, Stacey Silman ; great-grandchildren; Gavin and Garrett Yeager, Jasen and Kevin Youngblood, Anthony Poston, Joseph Poston and Kari Babcock.Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

So sorry to hear of Sis . Georgia Mae's passing. What a wonderful Lady. Knew her from church, but even more when she came and helped send out cards for us at work. Mr. Loftin always called her Ernie. She was fun to be around and I know she will be missed greatly. Have the family in my prayers.
