Graveside Services for George Larry Myers, age 74, of Ruston, LA will be held at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Chaplain Tim Johnson will officiate the service.

Interment will be under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home – Ruston.

Larry Myers was born in Vicksburg, MS to Marian S. Myers and Darlene Self Myers.  He passed away at his home on September 01, 2022, as he wished, following a decades long battle with heart disease.   Larry Myers was an Army Veteran that served his country with 2 tours in Vietnam.   He loved his family and his country and was very proud to have served in the military.  Larry is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley; and great granddaughter, Petra Fry.

Larry Myers is survived by wife, Flo Rinehart Myers; daughter, Angela Drake and husband Brian of Ruston, LA.; daughter, Bettina Myers of Cincinnati, OH.; daughter, Tanya Smith and husband Frank of Abilene, TX.; granddaughter, Megan Fry and husband Nick of Gainesville, FL.; granddaughter Kaitlin Pelley and husband Patrick of Ruston, LA.; grandson, Jed Davidson and wife Alyssa of Ruston, LA.; grandson, James Parkman of Ruston, LA.; grandson Dylan Drake of Ruston, LA.; grandson Braxton Smith of Cincinnati, OH.; granddaughter, McKenzie Iberria of Abilene, TX.; great grandchildren, Addie, Owen, Rhett, Zelda, Zoe and Avery (due to arrive on November 02, 2022).
