We finished a chemistry class one afternoon, the topic was "Chemical Equation" and virtually every one in the class was blank cos d topic seems difficult or the teacher did not Mr. Lloy did not deliver the topic well. Notiicng the feeling of every one Gbolahan simply went to d black board and started teaching the topic all over. That was the king of person Gbolahan was.

I've been so sick in the last two2 hours upon discovering that our very own person - Gbolahan Sokoya is no more. You taught me how never to be fazed by anything...I have been a great beneficiary of your cerebral brilliance! Real men are hard to find. You were such a real person. I haven't found a man so intelligent yet humble as you were. It is evident for all to see the great power of your example and how far you touched the lives of so many of treated all men with respect! Your time here was undoubtedly extremely short which makes it so hurtful. We thank the Almighty GOD for the opportunity to experience a real man...SLEEP WELL Gbolly AKA Soki briefly...i.e in few words

You were everything to me Dr Sho! I pray i get over this in due time. I should have loved you better brother, if i knew you would leave this soon, i would have dotted on you better than i did. I have never seen one who is as generous as you without a mind of an exchange for anything. I am not related to you by blood but you took me as one. You encouraged me to come to the US and when i got here, you were always checking up on me. You never stopped sharing with me, calls, money, gift. I should have noticed that you were sick when suddenly for about 3 months i did not hear from you but i was just a bad girl for not asking after you until Olumide announced your death. I am yet to forgive myself. Dr Sho! I lost you, there can never be another you. I love you Dr sho! I pray that God grant you eternal rest and that God continually be with aunty Funto and the kids. You came to the world, you achieved, you had huge success, you accomplished. we will miss your infectious smiles, your dress sense, your humility, your generosity, your kind heart, your love, your good look. I love you so much and this i pledge to do in your remembrance. Aj Ajibola Oginni
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

A TRIBUTE TO DR GBOLOHAN SOKOYA. Adieu! Dear Doctor Sokoya Adieu. A fondly cherished personality, full of laughter always. A Christian man; a loving husband and father. Oh death why is thy sting so harsh. From a triumph of hope, faith, perseverance. A quiet mentor; a brilliant physician. An experienced professional behind the unassuming personality, Oh death why is thy sting so harsh A gentleman, a friend to all. A God fearing man; a noble healer, So young but so experienced; His wisdom gladly shared. Oh death thy sting makes us grief. Adieu Dear Doc Adieu We will miss you greatly, we are thankful knowing that you are with Our Lord. Yes yes Shhh shhh shhh for we hear you say ìDon't grieve for me, dear family and friends for now I'm free! Rest Well Dear Doc rest well. We know you follow the path God laid, We know you took His hand when you heard Him call. Oh death thy sting is so painful. Goodbye dear Doc Goodbye You turned around and left it all and couldnít stay another day, It just had to be this way for God gave you peace on a sunny day. Goodbye dear Doc goodbye Your parting has left a void, but will fill it with remembered joys. A family shared, a laugh, much love. We try not to be burdened with times of sorrow, We have more sunshine until we meet again Your grand exit of the stage was such a shock Doc. Yes it was. I will always remember my Friend. I was always Dr. Mitchell and he was always Dr. Sokoya. He was always very thorough and an excellent physician. His professionalism was unrelenting but always he had the most wonderful smile. I will never forget that smile. Though he was quite young, he was much more seasoned a physician than many of you may have realized. He was a private person but if you knew one thing about Dr. Sokoya, he LOVED his family. I have great respect for him then and now. It was a PRIVILEGE to have known you Gbolahan!! You are truly missed.....
