Funeral services for Mrs. Gaye Jenny Roberson, 78 of Haile, LA., will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at Spencer Baptist Church in Spencer, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Donald Reeves assisted by Rev. Jerry Fletcher. Interment will follow at Liberty @ Linville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.Mrs. Roberson was born on September 8, 1936 in Sterlington, LA., and passed away on January 10, 2015 in Farmerville, LA. She was a former owner of Roberson Catfish & Seafood Restaurant and was a member of Spencer Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Mayme Jenny, and brother Don Jenny. Survivors include her husband, William Dewey Roberson of Haile, LA; sons Gene Roberson and wife Kathy of Sterlington, LA; Dicky Roberson and wife Pam of Haile, LA; David Roberson of Haile, LA; daughter, Jenny (Lucy) Wood and husband Albert of Farmerville, LA; brother, Tommy Joe Jenny and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Tony, Gerard and Ashley Roberson, Russell Roberson, Brooke Reeves, Janna and Kaylynn Roberson, Heath Wood and Heather Tucker; ten great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Heath Wood, Mitch Tucker, Sam Zimm, Johnny Roberson, Bobby Jenny, and Kenny Burgess.Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Bubba Plummer, and Hagan Hollis.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church.
