Funeral services for Gary Randall Bryan, 67, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Dr. Greg Clark will officiate. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Chatham, Louisiana under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. A visitation will be held from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Gary was born on January 12, 1958 in Monroe and passed away at home surrounded by family on January 20, 2025 in West Monroe. He graduated from West Monroe High School and NLU Construction Management, and was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church and West Monroe Civitan Club. He loved the outdoors, and hunting and fishing, and had the stories and scars to prove it. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lottie Bryan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and Doris Roark; brother-in-law, Jerry Ray Johnston; and sister-in-law, Janet Roark.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susie Roark Bryan; children, Matthew Bryan and wife Mindy, Miranda Gryder and husband Zach, and Molly Parker; grandchildren, Malachi and Maverick Bryan, Arrow, Day and Isla Gryder, Joanna, Gavin and Evelyn Parker; sister, Barbara Walters; sister-in-law, Karen Johnston; brothers-in-law, Mike Roark (Vicki), David Roark (Rosemary), Jerry Roark (Darla), Robin Roark (Becky); numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
Gary was a beloved husband, father, Pop and uncle.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Serving as pallbearers are Ken Schlessman, Dale Shields, Mike Shields, Alan Shields, Pete Harrell and Rick Felkel. Honorary pallbearers will be the West Monroe Civitan Club.
