Franklin Dee Frank Knight Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Dee Frank Knight, age 78, of Downsville, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Birds Chapel Church of Truxno, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Glyn Nale. Interment will follow in Birds Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Knight was born on March 16, 1933 in Shongoloo, LA., and passed away on February 28, 2012 in Farmerville, LA. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army. He was also active with the Masons. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ola and Chandler Knight and grandson: Bradley Knight. He is survived by his wife Darlene Knight of Downsville, LA; children: James Franklin Knight and Sally of Spearsville, LA; Jeanette Knight Miller and Jimmy of Truxno, LA; Harlin Ray Knight and Karen of Farmerville, LA; Amy Paulette Knight McAdams and Kenneth of Spearsville, LA; Lisa Annette Knight McAdams and Larry of Spearsville, LA; Boyd Knight and Paula of Truxno, LA; step-daughter: Sally Ann Hazelwood Bryant and Jerry of Ruston, LA; one aunt: Irene Ketchum of Cotton Valley; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Bryan Herring, Keith Herring, Andrew Hicks, Jacob Hicks, Kevin Doster, and Jeff Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dave Simpson, Jerimiah Simpson, Cody Bryant, Mike Hammons. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville also on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. till time of service on Saturday at the church.
