Funeral services for Frank A. Guraedy, Jr., 99, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Bro. Skip Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Frank was born May 25, 1923 in Picayune, La and passed away October 19, 2022. Frank served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a ball turret gunner and was shot down in the war. He attended LA Tech and served as a deacon in the Presbyterian Church and was a member and deacon of Highland Baptist Church. Frank was a 32 degree Mason and retired as a district supervisor of Tenneco Gas. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Hester Guraedy; his wife of 71 years Ruth Guraedy; son Bill Guraedy; sister Louise Moody; 3 brothers James Guraedy, Charles Guraedy and David Guraedy.
Frank is survived by his daughter Lynn McKee; son Tim Guraedy; daughter-in-law Pam; grandchildren Laurel Kahl and husband John, Kyle Guraedy and Jonathan Guraedy; great-granddaughter Eleanor Guraedy.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Guraedy, Kyle Guraedy, John Kahl, Phil Parker and Richard Guraedy.
