Graveside services for Frances Davis Young, 78, of West Monroe will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 16, 2023 at New Hope Cemetery, Choudrant, LA with Rev. Jarrett Fix officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Frances was born April 10, 1944 in Ft. Worth, Texas and passed away March 11, 2023 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband William George Young; parents J.L. and Nora Davis; sister-in-law Carole Davis. She always looked to her Bible for her answers and wanted to be a missionary at a young age. Throughout her life she shared her faith with her children and grandchildren. Frances was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved playing cards and Pokeno. She worked for Dr. Rosemary Stage for approximately 30 years.
Frances is survived by her daughters; Stacy Burke (Ray), Karen Walden (Todd); sons, Bill Young and Daniel Young (Erica); grandchildren; Demarion Payne, Aerial Mayfield (Jay), Cole, Allie, and Tyler Walden; sisters Mary King (Paul), Elizabeth Chance (Steve); brothers Jerry Davis and Jack Davis (Helen); numerous nieces and nephews.
