I was sorry to read of Forrest's passing in our Lycoming Magazine. After college, several of us shared a "mansion" together in Mosquito Valley, outside of Williamsport. We had a great time living together and I really enjoyed having Forrest as a roommate. Through him, I gained a sincere appreciation for photography and music. He was a very special guy.

Just learned with sorrow of Forrest's death when I searched for him to tell him of another death, that of his friend Dave Neufer, who died November 16, 2011. My husband and I knew and loved Forrest dearly - he was a classmate at Lycoming College. We shared many a conversation and a laugh. His intellect, wit, sense of humor, charm, kindness and compassion graced our days. So very sorry to hear of his passing. Certainly he must have touched many in his life. Farewell, friend.

We were deeply saddened to learn that Forrest passed away. We had so many wonderful times, from graduate school at UF, to watching the Gators play in bowl games during holiday visits. We will miss our dear friend. Our sincerest sympathies go out to the family.

Just found out that Forrest passed away. Forrest was a great guy, I have fond memories of the time we spent in graduate school and the occasional beer we had at scientific meetings thereafter. You will all be in my thoughts.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Forrest during his days as a doctoral student at the University of Florida. For many years thereafter, we would see each other regularly at psychology conferences. It was a great treat to spend time with Forrest, and I always looked forward to it. I will cherish these memories. -- Mike Perone West Virginia University

My oldest friend now rests, safely tucked away in the Good Lord's Arms. You touched me much, my brother; teaching me of lives and worlds I would never have known, to guitar blues in the dorm room 'till the wee hours, to the incredible photographs in my wedding album. As these memories are passed to my family, your impact upon this world will live forever. Vaya con Dios, amigo. Till we meet again.
