Floyd ,my friend, I look back at the things we have done together, had a blast playing soft ball with you, Going to races with was more fun than I can say. I had fun playing golf with, you even though you hit me in the leg with a golf club. lol. Sitting with you at West Monroe football games was very enjoyable .I will all ways remember you and your family at my house on the 4th of July. After I moved to Lake Charles ,your visits meant more than you will ever know . Sitting in my back yard eating and having a few gold beers was priceless. The last time we were together was in August when you call and we met for lunch. When we left the restaurant you told me be back soon and I will spend the knight and will come by and we will sit in your back yard and eat and drink a cold beer. Floyd you were a good man and a good friend. RIP Buddy.

Floyd, you were a great friend, Levear talked about you all the time and I know ya'll had a great time anytime ya'll were together. We were all good friends and I am blessed to have known you and your wonderful family. I know how much Wendell, Rachal and Samantha and the rest of the family will miss you. I know what that loss feels like. You were a great comfort to me when Levear passed away, talking to you and texting you were a great help to me. I still miss him and sometimes it just doesn't seem real and now you are gone and that does not seem real. Please when you see Levear in heaven, tell him I still miss him and love him and that we are doing good. I know he was waiting there for you. Wendall, Rachal, Samantha and family, I love you all and you will always be great friends and in my prayers. I am so happy that I got to see him last Tuesday. Go rest high on that mountain, Floyd. May God bless you all! Love ya'll!

Wendell, Rachel & family, We share comfort in knowing Floyd is no longer suffering. We send thoughts of sympathy and support to you today & in the coming days. It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, and although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. We are here for you & love you!

I will miss your great big grin whenever you would see us coming at the BHS Blast from the Past reunions. I'm so glad Ken and I got to sit and visit with you and Wendell this year at that party. Your family has my prayers and wishes for peace and comfort. I'll see you later at the "BIG" party in the sky!

I miss you already my dear friend. Whatever am I going to do without you? You never laughed at my questions, always put a smile on my face, boosted my morale, & just believed in me in general. I know you as a friend, a co-worker, and most of all as a man who dearly lived his family. Your face would light up when talking about date nights with Wendell and when talking about your daughter & granddaughters. You always had a new photo & story of Brantley to share. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your circle of friends & sharing me with your family at the end. I miss your daily inspirational emails to myself, Deni & Hannah. Whatever are we ever going to do without you? RIP. So thankful you are no longer having to suffer the pain & discomforts of that horrible disease that took you from us way too soon. I love you!
