Florence PoseyServices for Mrs. Florence Rundell Posey, age 69, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Farmerville. Rev. Johnny Hankins will officiate. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.Mrs. Posey was born on November 29, 1938 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and passed away on December 7, 2007 in Farmerville, LA.Mrs. Posey graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1956. She attended Louisiana State University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Mrs. Posey graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1960 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught elementary school for a number of years in El Dorado, Arkansas and at Cedar Creek School in Ruston.She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James; daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Kent Reed of Kinder, LA; three grandchildren, Justin, Wesley, and Catherine Reed; and son, Ron, and fianc©e, Charlene Martin, of Dallas, TX.She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Llewellyn Rundell.Pallbearers are Joe Harper, Stein Baughman, Jim Farley, Billy Shankle, Huey Warner, and Charles Causey.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Childrens? Home in Ruston, LA or to the charity of choice.Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
