Funeral services for Ezra Armstrong will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the chapel of Fair Park Baptist Church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Terry Ganey and Rev. Waymond Warren will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2019 in the chapel of Fair Park Baptist Church.Ezra was born July 7, 1933 in Rocky Branch, LA and passed away after a lengthy illness on February 23, 2019 in Farmerville, LA. He was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired after 45 years as a manager for Graphic Packaging . Ezra was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Ila Armstrong; his in-laws, Aubrey and Selma Taylor; brother-in-law, Lennox Taylor.Ezra is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carolene Taylor Armstrong; sons, Kenny Armstrong and wife Sarah, Kevin Armstrong and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Amy Stokes and husband Daniel, Kaleb Armstrong; Great-grandchildren, Gracie Stokes and Paytyn Stokes; brothers, Danny Armstrong and wife Sheila, Robert Armstrong and wife Janet; many other cherished family and friends.Pallbearers will be Herman Madison, Gary Pennington, Carol Weaks, Ronald Gates, Jerrell Gates, and Allen Pace.
