I wish I could have been there for you all. I've been praying for you all and wondering what was going on. It just occurred to me to look on the funeral homes' website. I'm so sorry for your loss, Christie. I loved your Mom. She was a fantastic lady!

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Haynes was a teacher of mine at Calhoun High School and was our newspaper staff sponsor. Mrs. Haynes always had a smile on her face and had a laugh that will never be forgotten. The last time I saw her was when we had our high school reunion and she came by to see all of us. She was voted one of our favorite teachers for the Calhoun High School Class of 1984. I just saw her obituary online and was so saddened to see that she had left us. I know you all must miss her dearly. Please know that she will always be fondly remembered by those of us that had the privilege of sharing her classroom with her. You are in our prayers. Dianne, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....I enjoyed getting to know Evelon when we moved out to West Ouachita area. I would see her from time to time, and she would keep me posted on you and your family. We have been in Austin four years followed Kim and her family... Evelon was a wonderful teacher and person...always so sweet. I know she will be greatly missed. Please extend our sympathy to her husband and daughter. We used to share stories of raising those daughters... It has been so long since I have seen you, but I think of you often and remember that semester so long ago..and what great friends you, Donna, and Mattie were to me. I want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I know how much you loved Evelon and how much you will miss her. But, what a comfort to know she is with our Heavenly Father and has been reunited with your mother on this Mother's Day! Love, Bob and Jane McKibbens Jones
