Graveside services for Evalina F. ?Ena? Boyette, 87, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Harper Springs Cemetery in Huttig, AR with Rev. Donnie Wilkinson officiating, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.Mrs. Boyette was born March 9, 1920 in Hurley, NM and passed away December 12, 2007 in West Monroe, LA. She was a long time resident of Sterlington, LA and member of First Baptist Church of Sterlington. She was a retired cashier of Piccadilly Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. C. Boyette, Sr.She is survived by four children: Liz Albright and husband, Gregg of Fairfield, CA, A. C. Boyette, Jr. of Bremerton, WA, Rosemary Trant and husband, Ronnie of Sterlington, LA and Jean DeRousse and husband, Dave of West Monroe, LA; six grandchildren: Kim Moore, Jason Trant, Jon Trant, Cole Trant, Shannon Pittard, and Emily DeRousse; and seven great grandchildren.Special thanks to the staff at StoneyBrook Assisted Living and Ridgecrest Nursing Home. Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Sterlington. LA.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA.

Rosemary,I was sorry to hear about Mrs. Ena's death. She was a wonderful person. She was always my connection to your children when I hadn't seen them in a long time. She would fill me in on what Jason, Jon, and Cole were doing. Of course, it was always something good. I now understand that now that I am a grandmother. I love talking about Kolby and Kaden just as much as Mrs. Ena loved talking about your boys.Your mother was also a great advocate for Sterlington. She loved doing something good around town. I was on Town Beautiful with her years ago and always looked forward to working with her.Tell the boys I said hello. I can't come Saturday; I had a little surgery on my foot recently.Love to all of you,Suzy Self
