Ethel was born June 12, 1926 in Epps, Louisiana and passed away June 13, 2020 at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe, Louisiana. She retired from University of Louisiana Monroe. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, George Brown; parents, Matilda Wade and James R. Auttonberry; siblings, Jessie Auttonberry, Mae Pickett, Leslie Auttonberry, Barnet Auttonberry, Robert Auttonberry, Eddie Auttonberry and Effie Auttonberry.
Ethel is survived by Benny Brown and wife, Beverly; brothers, W.H. “Dub” Auttonberry, Willard Auttonberry; grandchildren, Amy Moyer, Bo Brown and wife, Christina; four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many other cherished family and friends.
