I was devistated to read this. My condolences to Karen and the children and the rest of the family. Eric was a close friend when I lived in Monroe. We were in rival Bands, Eric in Strayhand and myself in Latsch with Larry Hunt and Randy Ross. There are so many fond memories with Eric and the gang from Monroe. I remember staying with Eric and his mon with my wife Carolyn and our two Irish setter dogs. My mind is a flush with saddness and fond memories. Life is so fragile. I have many, many fond memories of Eric playing music and playing with Eric. I had the pleasure of playing with him a last time at the Moose Lodge in West Monroe 4 or 5 years back with Ralph Asby, Paul Amy, Stan Beezley and Steve Wade. We got to talk a lot on the drive to the Brodie House. I will miss him greatly and extend to the entire family my sincere condolences.
