Emily Earline Robken Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral Services and Life Celebration for Emily Earline Robken, age 89, of Ruston formerly of Maumelle, AR. will be 2:00pm, Friday, August 3, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church of Maumelle, AR, officiating the service will be Brother Matt Sculley of Trinity Church, Hot Springs, AR. Burial will immediately follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, AR. Under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Emily Earline Robken went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, July 30, 2012. She was born to Sam and Mae McCulley on January 23, 1923 in Mexia, TX. Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James E. Robken, Sr. She was a graduate of the Life Bible College, Los Angeles, affiliated with the Four Square Gospel Church. She served in Christian ministry of numerous congregations with her husband for 35 years in the Little Rock Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Appointments included the Rondo Holly Springs Circuit near Texarkana, the Dierks – Green Chapel Circuit, the Harmony Grove – West Side Circuit, the Dumas Memorial – Lisbon Circuit in Wyatt, the Norphlet – Calion Circuit, Pullman Heights in Hot Springs, and the Bayou Meto – Lodges Corner Circuit near Stuttgart. During her ministry, she was an active leader with Womens Aglow and wrote numerous faith and healing publications and articles. After retirement they resided in Maubelle until entering the nursing home in Ruston, LA. Earline is survived by one brother, Ray McCulley of Dallas, TX, two sons, Jim Robken and wife Sheri of Ruston, LA, and Phil Robken and wife Grace of Hot Springs, AR, Grandchildren John Robken and Emily Robken of Ruston, LA, Jay Robken and Jenny Mehmedovic of Lawrence, KS, Phillip Robken of Bentonville, AR, Jared Robken of Fayetteville, AR, and Eric Robken of Houston, TX, two Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
