I have such fond memories of your Mom and family. My first memory was around age 4, playing in the sandbox with Randy and Ann, in your backyard. Your Mom was always so sweet to us when we came over throughout the years. I was always is awe over how she raised a large family, worked outside of the home, and dedicated so much time to Claiborne Methodist Church-- and she always seemed so calm and gracious. I loved your Mom. She will be missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dear Mike and Fred and family: I met your mom at Glenwood Hospital years ago when your dad was in hospital same time as my grandfather. She made such an impression on me. I already knew what kind of person she was because I knew Mike and Fred. There was this kindness, humor integrity, hard work ethic and leadership that bled out in everything they did...it had to have been taught. Our community watched every season to see another Shields rise to the top. We also looked to see if there was going to be another huge garden on the family land! Things must have happened very early in that you rarely saw someone there in the day! I send out my prayers to you and thanks to God for a life well lived. God bless your sweet family. A good name is better than great riches! Much love to all of you. Dixie Taylor Hall
