Funeral services will be held for Ellie Sechler Dickerson, 79, of Eros, LA, at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 4, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe with Rev. Jason Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Eros, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~West Monroe.

Ellie was born October 18, 1942 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away at her home on October 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dickerson; parents, Johnny and Lila (nee Dennis) Sechler; sisters, Maxine Steele and Lorraine Preddy and infant sister Margie; and her brother, Johnny Sechler.

Ellie is survived by her sons, Chuck Gaston, Jr. and wife Carla, Doyle Gaston and wife Valerie; step-daughters, Kelly Todd and Kristi O’Dell and husband Brian; step-son, Scott Dickerson and wife Stacy; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children; nephew, Trey Sechler, wife Misty, and their children; many extended family members.
