Officiating the service will be Rev. Gil Arthur. Interment will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Mrs. Miller was born April 5, 1940 and passed away January 8, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jerry L. Miller.She was a life time member of Cook Baptist Church where she volunteered in several areas. Mrs. Miller worked at Louisiana Tech for over 20 years in College of Education. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed making biscuits for her grandchildren and the veterans.She is survived by her children: Steve Miller (Nanette ) of Ruston and Stacee Miller Priddy (John) of Tyler TX; grandchildren: Jessica L. Bennett (Justin) of Edmonton Alberta Canada, Daniel Priddy, Megan Priddy and Meredith Priddy all of Tyler TX; sister: Gayle Granger(Phillip) of Pineville: bother-in-law: Mike Miller(Ginger) of Dunwoody, GA; numerous nieces and nephews and close friend: Thomas Ledford, Sr. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff with Stat Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice for their care given during her final days.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North American Mission Board in care of Jessica and Justin Bennett.Pallbearers will be Richard Jones, Fred Pee, Tommy Ledford Jr, Daniel Priddy, Greg McCarter and Warren Ward.Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike McCartney.Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 4-7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
