Edna Faye Williams, 62, of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Betty and Robert H. Knight.
On May 25, 1991, Edna married the love of her life, Larry “Willie” Williams. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to love, faith, and friendship—a true partnership built on devotion. Edna and Larry were soulmates who shared over three decades of love and memories.
Edna is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her sister, Sherry Knight of Arlington, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Williams; her children, Daniel Lansdale (Emily) and Lance Lansdale; her grandchildren Briana Lansdale Brown (Denver), Daylan Lansdale, and Emma Lansdale; and her great-granddaughter, Piper Brown—Edna’s first great-grandchild and a special light in her life. She also leaves behind her siblings Bruce Knight, Jay Knight, and Sandra Steelman. She will also be sorely missed by her beloved fur-baby, Bubba J who was also her heart.
Edna was known for living by the “3 F’s”—Faith, Family, and Friends. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother.
God has received a very special Angel and Edna will live on in our hearts forever.
