Edna was born July 21, 1930 and passed away October 14, 2020. Edna loved the good Lord, her family and nursing. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Cootes; parents Percy and Lucy Powell Hollis; brother, Garland Hollis; and sisters, Martha Hollis, Louise H. Thompson, Estelle H. Foster, Daisy H. Green, Evelyn H. Foster and grandson Timothy Maurer.
Edna is survived by her daughters, Catherine Ann Edelen and her husband Keith, Shirley Jean Maurer and her fiancé, Jimmy Draughn; grandchildren, Ricky Lynn Wheeler and his wife Melanie, Sheila Rene Wheeler, Billy Ray Wheeler, Cynthia Ann Wheeler; and 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
