Her picture was exactly how she reflected her heart…full, fun and beautiful. I got to spend one special day with her in her home and then a walk around her flowers! I loved her and I got to tell her for that Lord I will be eternally grateful.

Ms. Edna was our neighbor for 10 years but she was more than a neighbor; she was our friend. She knew everything you could possibly want to know about flower gardening and loved sharing her "new" flowers that she had dug up from her old home place with us. Her flower garden was unbelievable and she enjoyed us walking over to visit so that we could admire it with her. Ms. Edna would host fish fries at her house for her family and always included us, which we never missed!! She could fry the best catfish you ever put in your mouth!! Her Christmas tree stayed decorated year round because she loved the beautiful decorations so much and just wanted to celebrate Jesus' birthday everyday, not just once a year. When we went to visit, she always took us to her living room so we could enjoy it with her. She loved pretty things and filled her home with things that made her smile. Speaking of smile? She always had that beautiful smile on her face and what a wonderful laugh. She was kind, caring, honest, loyal, compassionate, and always wanting to help someone. Ms. Edna was one of a kind and she loved us just as we loved her. She will forever stay in our hearts and we will always be grateful that we were fortunate enough to have her in our lives. She will never be forgotten. Until we see you again, Ms. Edna! We love you!
