McKenzie, 87 of Farmerville, LA, will be held Friday , November 22 , 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Interment will be held at Farmerville City Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Officiating will be Bro. Greg McManus. Mr. McKenzie was born on April 10, 1926 and passed away on November 19, 2013. Mr. McKenzie was a member of First Baptist Church. He retired from Claiborne Electric Cooperation Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his wife Opal McKenzie, his parents, daughter Vivian McKenzie and grandsons Adam and Aaron McKenzie and seven brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his children; Jerome McKenzie and wife Cheryl of Farmerville, LA; Carl Ray McKenzie of Farmerville, LA; Kathy Duke of Ruston, LA; grandchildren; Carla McKenzie Brown and husband Dr. Jake Brown and Kaitlin Duke. Great grandchildren: Jeremey Alexander, Brittani McKenzie, Brandon Jeffery, Justin Ott and McKenzie Brown and brother Wayne McKenzie. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
