Dr. William D. “Sonny” Roberts Funeral services for Dr. William D. “Sonny” Roberts age 70, of Farmerville, LA will be held Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Crestview Baptist Church of Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Wayne Whiteside and Bro. Richard Methvin. Interment will follow in Laran Cemetery at Laran, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. Dr. Roberts was born on July 5, 1943 and passed away on September 25, 2013. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife Melanie Holloway Roberts of Farmerville, LA; children, Elyse Cole of Nashville, TN; GiGi Gilbert of Houston, TX; Joseph Roberts of Monroe, LA; Edward Roberts of Monroe, LA; sisters, Shirley Doolittle of Alexandria, LA; and Jackie Rachal of Natchitoches, LA. Pallbearers will be: Chad Holloway, Ben Holloway, Willie Holloway, Jimmy Doolittle, Robert Doolittle and John H. Harper. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.
