Donna, Holly, and Heather- and of course the beautiful grand daughters - I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. Donna, you and Bill opened your home to me as I entered Louisiana Tech a brand new Christian young lady. You trusted me with your girls, invited me to be a part of your family, showed me what a Christian couple, a Christian home looks like, basically helped disciple me. I have told many people about you over the years, what you both invested in me. You are both special to me in my memories of that season of life. Thank you. Bill is receiving his reward in Heaven from Jesus for the generosity you showed. I will never forget him. Hugs to you all and prayers for comfort. I know He will be missed by many.

Sending prayers as you move through this time in your life, knowing Bill is rejoicing in Heaven with his Father God. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have his appearing." 2Timothy 4:7-8

I am so sorry for your loss, truly sorry. Dr. Tanner was beyond wonderful to me in some of my most painful and difficult times. I was so sad to learn of his retirement, but truly heartbroken at his passing. There was never a time that I had an appointment with him that we didn't talk a little about life in general and in every one of those conversations he never failed to mention his family or his wife in some loving way. He was my fav!
