Butch & Peggy Bearden, Valrico, FL left a message on January 24, 2017:
Sometimes mere words can't express your inner feelings. Jonathan, Kim, Kathy and all family members. We send our heartfelt and sincere condolences. As you know Bobby Gene and I are cousins and our birthdays are about 12 hours apart. He would call me on the 13th of June, each year, without fail, to remind me I was old. The following day I would return that call and ask him "how the ole man was doing". We referred to each other as brothers. Something I have always cherished. I will truly miss my (other) brother, my friend, my cousin and most of all, a darn good human being. May the Lord bless each of you as the healing begins.

I fondly remember Mr. Woodall from Rogers Junior High in 1981. He was my advanced English teacher. He was a good teacher and I have thought of him often over the years. Prayers for your family at this time of sorrow.

So sorry for your great loss. Bob was a real friend and great business associate. Whenever he was in town, he would want to take my wife and I out to dinner. We had many fine times.

Several months ago Dr. Bob came to our church with his son on a Sunday night. I asked him to preach and he gladly did! It was such a blessing to our church! I am thankful that I gave him the opportunity to share a message from God's Word. It was one of those Holy Spirit led moments!Bro. David Blase and First Baptist Church of Dierks, Arkansas
