Dorothy was born on August 14, 1926 in Chatham, Louisiana and passed away on July 24, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, LaVaughn Kirkham; parents, Henry Harper Banks and Lura Spurlock Banks.
Dorothy is survived by six children, Marcia Kirkham, Henry Kirkham and wife Bertie, Lynn Sanderlin and husband Ted, Ronald Kirkham and wife Judy, Ralph Kirkham and wife Cheryl, Laura Kirkham; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; many other cherished family and friends.
