To CD and the rest of the family of sister Dot Spillers, Dot was a sweet sister in Christ and a grandmother-figure to many. For as long as I remember growing up at Beacon (Bawcomville) church of Christ, I remember sister Dot fondly: her hugs, kind words, and encouragement, including a little over three years of serving as her preacher. She was a very sweet Christian lady, and I know that she will be missed so much. Take comfort knowing that she lived her life in service to Christ, where all spiritual blessings are found (Ephesians 1:3), including the promise of heaven (1 Thes. 4:13-18; John 14:1ff). I wish I could be there as you all celebrate her life, but know that I am with you in spirit. Sending love and prayers from Oklahoma, Chase Green
