Graveside services for Dorothy “Dot” Spillers will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Brother Bill Schooley will officiate. Visitation will be held at 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.
Dorothy “Dot” Spillers, 73, of Eros, Louisiana, passed away on June 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born July 21, 1950 in Rayville, Louisiana. Dot had a great love of God and was a faithful servant at Beacon Church of Christ in West Monroe, Louisiana, for many years. She had a fierce love for her family and took great pride in raising her three sons and spending time with her grandchildren. Dot spent many years playing softball on local leagues and enjoyed watching her sons and grandchildren play sports. She is preceded in death by her son, Brock Spillers; great-grandson, Levi Spillers; parents, Paul and Annie Ruth Thomas; sister, Susie Harris Cascio; brothers, Barney Harris, Jimmy Thomas and Joe Harris.
Dot is survived by her husband, CD Spillers; sons, Brent Spillers and daughter-in-law Amy, Brian Spillers and daughter-in-law Nickie; grandchildren, Bailey Spillers Ragan, Dylan Spillers, Maicey Spillers, Keaton Spillers, Kage Spillers, Hudson Spillers; great-grandchildren, Murphy Ragan, Hildi Ragan, Miller Ragan, Annie Spillers; brother, Johnny Thomas and his wife Linda; Paula Jones and her husband Andy; numerous nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Keaton Spillers, Dylan Spillers, Hudson Spillers, Kage Spillers, Brian Spillers and Brent Spillers.
The family would like to send a very special thank you to Shelby and Norman Almond for always lending a helping hand without fail. Also to the staff of Ascend Hospice for their care.
