Dorothy Ann Welch, 87, passed away on December 6, 2024. She was born to Robert and Cecil Cullins Shepherd on April 15, 1937. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Louisiana. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Jolley Cemetery in Junction City, Arkansas with Pastor Jason Yarborough officiating.
She previously worked as a lab technician for Dr. Kenneth Duzan in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Wendy Jones and Bobbie Staggs.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 70 years, Charles R. Welch; sons, Ricky Welch of El Dorado, Arkansas and Greg Welch (Ronda) of Junction City, Arkansas; brothers, Roger Shepherd (Diane), and J.R. Shepherd (Sue); grandchildren, Rachel, Gregory, A. J., Chris and Charity; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
