Dear Musick family, we send our deepest sympathy in the home going of your dear Mother and Grandmother. What she for many years believed by faith, she knew by sight Friday, at 1:05p! Our RRBC family is gathering there...what a reunion it will be with our loved ones and that RRBC church family when we too arrive at our forever home. A wonderful person and a life well lived, I am sure that she arrived to The Applause of Heaven. It has been many years since we have seen you all but we send our love and prayers in the days and weeks ahead, The family of Bro. E. Lowe Stone Beverly, Becky, Debby, Bobby, Toney and families

So sorry for your loss of this wonderful sweet lady. She always had a smile & maybe a joke or two. My mother, Lorene Townsend enjoyed her company helping every year with Bible school. They are together in Heaven enjoying each other’s company. God bless your family. He will be with you in the coming days. Carolyn Honeycutt

Ryan, my condolences to you and your father and entire family in the loss of your beloved family member. Although I am sure her obituary gave the highlights of her life here on earth, it is obvious from all her accomplishments and talents listed, that these only "scratch the surface". Praying for comfort and peace for all / Jana Cannon( a nursery customer from Bastrop)

I met Doris Musick in 1966 when I was blessed to begin dating her daughter, Martha. Now after 55 years knowing her and 53 years of sharing life with her daughter, I give thanks for being a part of this family. We celebrate her homegoing to be with the Lord. Truly she was a wonderful mother-in-law!
Sharon Jerry left a message on March 4, 2023:
I went to work for LA DOTD in 1977 and Mrs. Musick helped me so much. She was so kind to a young single mother. I helped her and Ms. Maude out as much as I could because they treated as if I was their daughter. I have always appreciated everything she did to help me. She realized that Donald and me went to high school together and talked often of him. She was very proud of all of her children. I will never forget her. She was a wonderful person. I will be praying for you as I know her death has left a void in your hearts.
