Funeral services for Doris L. Bourgeois Copeland will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Pastor Michael Stravato officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at St. Paschal’s Cemetery.

Doris was born February 1, 1939 in West Monroe, LA and passed away June 19, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Copeland; and her daughter Tina Bailey. Doris was a retired secretary for Central American Life Insurance Company.

Doris is survived by her son, Joey E. Cowan and wife Heather; grandchildren, Jason Cowan, Ashley Cowan, Cody Cowan, and Corey Cowan; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends, Barbara Brim and Diane Purdy.
