Funeral Services for Doris Alice Earnest Caldwell will be held Tuesday, June 06, 2023 at Alabama Presbyterian Church, at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Rev. Barry Joyner.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time, at the church.  Interment will be in Sibley Cemetery at Choudrant, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Doris was born on January 06, 1940, in Warren, AR. to David Jackson Earnest, Sr. and Georgia Marie Rogers Earnest.  She passed from this life on June 01, 2023 in Ruston, LA.  She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Georgia Rogers Earnest, Sr.; her husband, Thomas Delane Caldwell, Sr.; and siblings, David Jackson Earnest, Jr., Catherine Jane Johnson, William Earnest, and George Rogers “Pete” Earnest.

Doris is survived by her children, Sandra Johnston and husband Robert of Choudrant, LA, Thomas Caldwell, Jr. and wife Sheila of Choudrant, LA, Richard Caldwell and wife Kelly of Dubach, LA, Martha Pardue of Choudrant, LA, John Caldwell of Choudrant, LA; grandchildren, Robert Johnston, Jr., Thomas Johnston, Daniel Caldwell, Sarah McLeese, Joseph Caldwell, Austin Caldwell, Cameron Caldwell, and Stephen Pardue; great grandchildren, Pierce Johnston, Cassie Johnston, Hailey Caldwell, Keygan Pardue, Willow Pardue, Lane Caldwell, Reid Caldwell, Sonny Caldwell, Turner Johnston, and Liam McLeese; siblings, Jeannette Von Tungeln, Carolyn Jo Robinson, Linda Ann Ashcraft, Virgie Havard, Geneva Courtney, Marvin Earnest, J.D. Earnest and numerous nieces and nephews.
