Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Loretta (Memaw) Impson Osgood, 85, of Huttig, AR, will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Felsenthal Baptist Church in Felsenthal, AR. Officiating the service will be Rev. Benny Ward assisted by Rev. Chuck Downey. Officiating graveside service will be Norris Grubbs in Old Lapile Cemetery in Huttig, AR., under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Dora was born on January 21, 1932 in Jumbo, OK and passed away on June 23, 2017 in Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Felsenthal Baptist Church of Felsenthal, AR. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmo T. Osgood parents, Joshua Will Impson and Mary Elizabeth Jane Phillips, and two children, Mary Jane Osgood and Joshua Will Osgood. Memaw was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. We cannot count the number of children she touched from Oklahoma to Arkansas. Every child was welcome in her home. You could always count on a hug and an I Love You every time. Memaw would always have an open kitchen for anyone who stopped by. Memaw favorite thing with family and friends was to have a picnic, rain, shine or snow. And you could always find a cold biscuit and salt pork on the stove. Survivors include her daughters, Linda and husband Joe Chebahtah of Slidell, LA; Lee McLemore of El Dorado, AR; Lesia McLemore and husband Danny of Huttig, AR; sons, John Osgood and wife Barbara of Huttig, AR; Leon Osgood and wife Tammy of El Dorado, AR; Kevin Osgood and wife Darlene of Strong, AR; Deshawn Osgood and wife Angela of Felsenthal, AR;thirty two grandchildren, sixty four great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday 26, June 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.Pallbearers will be Adam Chebahtah, David Lewis, Randall Osgood, Leon Osgood, Jr., Dustin Osgood, and Shawn Osgood II.Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane D.
