Funeral services for Donna Brown, 88, of Calhoun, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. James Doughty will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Hasley Cemetery-West Monroe. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.

Donna was born on March 12, 1936 in Sidney, Montana and passed away on August 15, 2024 in Calhoun, Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe. Donna retired from St. Francis Medical Center where she was a switchboard operator. Her favorite pastime was fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Felson Brown, Jr.; children, Cynthia Marie Brown, Kerry Martin Brown; grandchildren, Adam Kyle Smith, Joshua David Brown; brother, Larry Rodgers; sister, Elaine Rodgers.

Donna is survived by her children, Cheryl Mae Brown Cothron and husband Brian, Karl Michael Brown; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Brown, Ashley Thrash and husband John David, Steve Ryan Brown and wife Jamie, Christopher Smith and wife Carla, Meagan Scallan and husband Nick, Amber St. Romain and husband Adam; sister, Trudy Warner: nine great-grandchildren; and many other cherished family and friends.
