Jenny Langmeyer, PT left a message on March 25, 2025:
I know that our encounter was brief, only a weekend back in February really, but it was an honor getting to work with you and to meet your family. Your sense of humor, your willingness to work, your mischievous grin when you were trying to get away with something, and you're calling my pretty young lady, all made my time working with you unforgettable. To read in the paper that you have passed on to a far better place is both sad and comforting at the same time. Sad because so many will miss out on getting to know the man that D-Daddy was; comforting because we will meet again one day, and you are no longer trying to figure out what happened to some of those days you lost. You have finished the race, His good and faithful servant. With sincerest sympathy - Jenny Langmeyer, PT.

Angie & Stacy I am so heartbroken to learn of Donald's passing. Both he & Mary Francis were the very best friends to me since 1971 when we all lived on Sparta Street. Lots of wonderful memories over the years with them. Donald gave the best hugs. He was so proud of you both & the grandkids.

This plant acts up. When it's dry, it needs water and a wink. I think Uncle Donald would understand it. All our love.

I knew Donald a long time ago while serving in the LANG; his nickname there was Duck, and he was a good soldier. I know he will be missed by his family and many friends. So sorry to hear of his passing!

Prayers for his family for peace and comfort. Proud to have served with him for several years in the beginning of my military career.
