Uncle Devon was a charter member of the 'Greatest Generation Ever'! He was born and raised in a family of honest, hard-working and loving folks! He was a great example of the legacy of his parents--and most of all-he gave of himself to his loving and dedicated wife-Aunt Stella! The memory of a person can be judged by his own children & their children--Devon & Stella Lewis raised their two sons in their kind and caring shadow. Dee and Jeff grew up to be successful men, loving and giving husbands--and passed those great traits on to their own children....and into future generations. His memory and love will remain in our hearts forever because he definitely was always a positive influence and role model for all! We are so sorry for your loss--Dee & Jeff along with each of your families! We all will miss him. Prayers for strength and comfort in the upcoming days.

Uncle Devon and Aunt Stella were so beloved and cherished by all of my siblings and me! I personally loved growing up sitting in all. My favorite uncles’ laps while they listened to all of our ridiculous childish stories, but always laughing and acting like they believed every word! I miss those simple times and wish to have just one more day with all of my uncles, aunts, my daddy and all of those that have gone ahead without us. Have a great family reunion! I know you have missed that lovely lady of yours and couldn’t wait to see her again. All my prayers to those you’ve left behind, but all my love to you, Uncle Devon. We will miss you!! Love, Wendy Hillman Rathbun and family.
