Deral was born January 26, 1934 in West Monroe and passed away August 2, 2021 in Ruston, Louisiana. He was former owner of The Fruit Basket Shop. Deral was preceded in death by his parents; Melvin and Geraldine Jordan; sister Barbara Bearden and husband G.C.; sister Melvalene Burroughs; sister Linda Bearden and husband Mack; nephew Tony Bearden.
Deral is survived by his brother-in-law; Jerry Burroughs; niece Angela Taylor; great-niece Brandi Thomas (husband Mark); great-great nephew Riley Thomas; great-great niece; Sophia Thomas and niece Monica Breedlove.
