Dad I remember the first time we met it seemed like we became friends right from the start. You and Jim and nana G just adopted us into your family. I lost my daddy when I was 16 so having you as a father figure in my life made me feel so blessed. I know when you got to heaven my daddy was there to shake your hand to thank you for loving his daughter like I was your daughter. Thank you for also loving my children as your grandchildren you are so loved by Giovani, James and Makenzi. Thank you for teaching me all about lumber business it made it easier for me to do a good job. You were there for me throughout my illness and you loved me as I loved you dad . Although my heart breaks that you are gone I know you are in heaven with God. I will always love you and miss you thanks for taking me into your heart and family .. RIP

I'm an extremely blessed daughter. You and Mom have created an incredible circle of love, laughter an support. Dad you've touched so many lives. I can't count the you've told us about just stopping and visiting with complete strangers and you would continue to check on them. The stories and the memories are flooding my Facebook, messenger and text. You have gone on to heaven where, I'm sure, there is a celebration going on. Dad, thank for making sure everything was taken care of. I haven't had the added stress of wondering where the funds would come from. You've always have been a good provider. WE LOVE YOU DAD & WE MISS YOU!!!!! Your daughter, Kimberlyn Rae Gronewold
