Graveside services for Delores Ann Sowers, 66, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Newton Cemetery in Delhi, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.
Delores was born on November 24, 1958 in Delhi, Louisiana and left this earth on December 13, 2024 in Huntsville, Alabama surrounded by family. She was previously employed with the Transportation and Safety Administration. Delores is preceded in death by her son, Charlie, parents, Troyce Carter and Louise Huffman Carter; and sister, Rhonda Parks.
Delores is survived by her husband, Harold G. “Bud” Sowers; son, Benjamin G. Sowers and wife Felicia of Huntsville, Alabama; grandson, Tyson Thomas; sisters, Missy Grisom, Cindy Duffield; brother, Troyce Carter, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
