Debra Gail Crowder (Woodall), age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 8, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. Debo, as she was known by her friends and family, was born on November 15, 1953 in Shreveport, LA to W.L. and Nettie Woodall. She held her family close to heart. She married the love of her life Billie Crowder in May of 1989 and built a life full of love, family, friends and fun. She worked for many years as a district manager for DHL until she retired in 2009 to care for Billie. Her son, DaWayne, was the light of her life and best friend. Debra loved having family every Sunday with food, fun and long visits. She was preceded in death by her parents W.L. and Nettie Woodall, and her late husband Billie W. Crowder.
Debra is survived by her son DaWayne and his wife Laura Crowder of West Monroe, and their children Grace, Meredith, and Cannon Crowder; her brother and his wife Bruce and Wanda Woodall of Granbury, TX; and nieces Shari Lee and Shelli Coyle and their mother Sandra Woodall. Also surviving her was a very special niece Brandi Jones of Weatherford, TX and her husband Tommy. She leaves behind many special friends she considered family that have been by her side for her journey through life.
Her life was a living example of 1 Corinthians 13:13, “So now by faith, hope and love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love”
