Funeral services for Dawn Bennett Touchstone, age 62, of Choudrant, LA will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Douglas United Methodist Church. Rev. Jeremy Jones will officiate. Interment will be at the Douglas Cemetery near Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.Mrs. Touchstone was born on November 27, 1953 and passed away on June 7, 2016 after a brief illness. Dawn worked as a nurse at Green Clinic and was a member of Douglas United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bettie Bennett, one brother, David Bennett and one sister, Diana Bennett. Dawn is survived by her husband, Jerry Touchstone of Choudrant, LA; daughter, Pamela Touchstone of Choudrant, LA; son, Scott Touchstone of Choudrant, LA; brothers and sisters: Charles Bennett and wife, Beth of Huffman, TX, Debbie Thompson of Choudrant, LA, Mary Pratt and husband, Mike, of Harrison, Arkansas, Sue Jackson and husband, J.J., of Dadeville, AL, and Jeff Bennett of Mandeville, LA. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lehr, Jacob Aswell, Troy Ham, Terry Cupid, Joe Williams, and Jason Williams.Visitation will be from 5 7 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Douglas United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.Online condolences may be made to the family @ www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
