My name is Bob McConkey (Bill's brother) and I worked with Mr. Tisdale at the Ark-LA-Miss Fair at the Civic Center in the Bingo tent sponsored by the Lion's Club. He was a great man and will be missed.

Scott, I am saddened to hear of your loss. Your dad was an inspiration to all of us. His ability to listen to a bunch of young teens jamming on the same tune for hours was commendable. Both of your parents were a joy to be around and I miss the long conversations we would have. Their love and caring spirit will live on through you.
Jack Gunn left a message on January 1, 2017:
My condolences, Scott. As a teen, I enjoyed your Dad's company, advice and good nature. Allowing us to rehearse loudly at your house the songs of Three Dog Night and other '60s bands--well, showed a ton of patience and kindness. Every now and then we got him and Pauline to recall the days of the Great Depression. Those conversations had quite an affect on a career decision . Mr. Tisdale was a good, principled man.May God be with you and your family.Your long time Friend,Jack Gunn
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Scott and Melissa, Uncle David will be missed. He always had a great sense of humor, liked everyone and loved his family. I will always remember fishing with him at Lake Darbonne and catching crabs with him in Maryland. He was kind, forgiving and always there for his family. Keeping you and Melissa in our prayers and thoughts. Patricia and Donnie Wince
