David was born January 1, 1955 in Texarkana, TX and passed away on November 15, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Rufus Cooper. David was retired after 30 years as a heavy equipment operator from Exco Inc.
David is survived by his sons; David Lance Cooper, Daniel Blake Cooper and Devin Trey Cooper; the mother of his sons Christine Lorraine Hubbard Massari; sister Deborah Richard Cooper; nephew Timothy Taylor; nieces Crystal Taylor and Bobbie Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Paul Davis, Darren Davis, Phil Hobbs, Jerry McMasters, Scott Betts and Logan Lee.

My heart goes out to all of Mr. Coops family! I worked at the donut shop in Calhoun and for 3 years straight he was there everyday we were open. I can remember every time he showed up with his big baby Max lol. I looked up to Coop so much as a man. We always talked about working on his Hot rod and I even asked him one day if he would be my grandpa lol. I love you Coop! Fly high!

David was a great Father and provider of our three Sons! And loved them so much! He loved to take them racing Go Carts 4 wheelers,motorcycle s, bicycle racing!David loved animals of all ‘kinds! And going to car shows and car racing! He was looking forward to going to Heaven to not being in no more pain! But hung in there because He never wanted to leave his boys!
