A celebration of life for David Charles Rice, 85, and Mary Sue Roberts Rice, 84, will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at First West in the Feazel Chapel.  Rev. Michael Wood and Rev. David McCormick will officiate.  Visitation will be held at 12:00 Noon until time of service.

David Charles Rice, born January 25, 1939, and Mary Sue Roberts Rice born, January 24, 1940, passed away on September 8, 2024.  David and Mary are now resting in peace with their heavenly Father after a long struggle with cancer.  For over 66 years, they exemplified a picture of what true love is.  They enjoyed traveling, Gaither concerts, but mostly just being together.

They are survived by their daughters, Angie Tolbird (Everett) and Jennifer Bufford (Danny); grandchildren, Grant Tolbird (Danielle), Gracie Bufford, and Garrett Bufford; along with other cherished family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First West Worship Ministry or Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
