Graveside service for Mr. Dana Joe Murray, 75, of Monroe, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.  Rev. Greg Clark will be officiating.

Dana was born in Monroe on April 4, 1950 and passed away on May 22, 2025 in Shreveport, surrounded by family.  He served in the United States Navy and retired as a welder with the Local 141 Plumbing and Steam Fitters United Association. Dana enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing and loved watching his grandchildren and great-grands playing sports as he never missed a game.  Dana was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Joe Murray, Jr.; brothers, Terry Murray and Michael Slavant; and sister, Paula Marchant.

Dana is survived by his daughter, Ericka Willis and husband Joe; grandchildren, BreAnn Nolan, Caden Willis and Mason Willis; great-grandchildren, Elijah Hendry and Bailey Shelden; and special friends, Don Robinson and Buddy Wood.
