Curvin was born June 27, 1939 in Fullerton, LA and passed away at his home in Ringgold, LA on January 22, 2025. He found joy in reading his Bible and cherished the melodies of old gospel, bluegrass and country music. His love for music extended beyond listening as he enjoyed playing his piano and singing, filling his home with songs that reflected his joyful spirit and deep roots.
He found peace and fulfillment later in life when surrendered his life to Christ and drew unto the Lord. He delighted in feeding the fish in his pond and riding his four-wheeler around his property, enjoying these serene moments outdoors. Curvin enjoyed his trucks and his tractors on his small farm where his grandkids and great grandkids always loved to go ride Papaw’s four-wheeler.
Curvin’s professional life was one of skill and dedication. He was a hard-working man who took great pride in his work. As a talented painter, he left his mark all over Georgia and Louisiana with his craftsmanship. He was a proud American and his home reflected these beliefs as a Bible, a gun, and a guitar stood as symbols of his faith, patriotism and love for music. He will also be remembered for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor and his contagious smile. He was truly a testament to God’s grace, mercy and love.
