Corbin was born February 7, 2002 in Monroe, LA and passed away September 10, 2020 at West Monroe. Corbin was a graduate of West Monroe High School and a student at LA Tech University. He worked in the Monroe DA’s Office and planned to pursue a career in criminal law. He loved music and was an avid guitar player and singer. He is remembered for his strength, compassion, sense of humor, and his faith even in the midst of trial. In all these ways, Corbin was a light to people around him. He had a passionate hope that his legacy would be to move people to support the life-saving work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and to point people to the soul-saving work of the gospel of Jesus.
Corbin is survived by his parents, Clint and Heather Gulde; brother, Nathan Gulde; sister, Esther Gulde; grandparents, Carl and Clarenda Gulde, James and Sharon Walls; great-grandmother, Aileen McWilliams; aunts, Julie Veno and husband Chris, Melissa Burris and husband Trey; several cousins and host of dear friends and extended family.
Honorary Pallbearers will be “The Knights of The Long Table.”
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to this special link at St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

I never knew Cordin personally. My fiance, Rachel, graduated with him and sang in choir with him, and she has told me numerous stories and showed me pictures and videos of his antics and his displays of talent.
Knowing his story, I was impacted greatly by his unique charm and intelligent sense of humor. He is exactly the type of friend I would've liked to have had in high school, and I can't express enough how much I wish I could have known him. I can't wait to meet him one day through the forgiveness and grace of Christ.

I went through my online pictures the other day and found the ones that we took of Corbin for the St. Jude Dream Home. I believe it was 2015. I also took a pic of him on stage at the WM Homecoming assembly.
I could not get over how he had grown and was so proud of him. Those St. Jude kids hold a special place. I keep up with many of them.
There is no doubt that he touched so many lives. This world was absolutely a better place because he was with us... albeit for too brief of a time.
Keeping all of you in our prayers. He will leave a huge void, but it will make thoughts of heaven so much sweeter knowing that he is there.
