I am deeply saddened to hear Coach Harper has passed away. She was such an asset to the students of Lakeshore. I came to know Linda Harper when she would join me and my second graders at lunch. She was old school all the way! She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by the students and faculty of a Lakeshore Elementary School. Heaven has gained an angel!

Coach Harper made my first days at NLU as a kid from Zachary, LA running track manageable. She always said hello, asked how classes were going and was the reason I stayed at NLU instead of going back South. With her, I would have never have met my longtime friend EJ, my husband Robert "Lane" Colvin or found a path for my life. Coach Harper as well as Coach Pittington are the heroes of sport coaches should emulate and admire. God Speed Coach...we will all meet one day!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
